Flex

Flex is the payment method that allows you to pay for all your Riverty purchases in installments. With Flex, you easily combine multiple purchases from different webshops and only pay one amount per month. You decide on the monthly amount.

You can use Flex when the payment method is available in the app or MyRiverty at the payment options of your invoice. The monthly payments will be automatically deducted from your bank account each month.

When Flex is available for your invoice, you can select Flex at the payment options in the app our MyRiverty. Before we can offer you a Flex account, we need to perform a couple of checks. When the checks are succesful, you are immediately able to add your invoices to the Flex account.

Monthly pament
You pay one amount per month for all the invoices that you have added to your Flex account. The payments are done via direct debit. All you need to do, is make sure there sufficient balance on your bank account.

Change the monthly amount
You can change the monthly amount as often as you like, without any additional fees. Changing the amount can be done in the AfterPay app or in MyRiverty. The monthly amount does affect the amount of interest that you pay. Do you increase your monthly amount? Then you will pay less interest. When you lower the monthly amount, you will pay more interest. You decide what amounts is the best fit for you.

How do I change the payment date?
Would you like to pay on a different day? Then please contact our customer service. We are happy to select another payment date for you.

The payment was unsuccessful. What now?
If we were not able to deduct the payment from your bank account, we will send you an email with more information. You do not have to do anything right now. Please do make sure you will have sufficient balance when the next payment date arrives. If we are not able to deduct the payment the second time in a row, we are obliged to inform Bureau Krediet Registratie (BKR). Also, you will not be able to use your Flex account until you have paid the missing payments.

I am not able to pay the monthly amount. What can I do?
You can always change the monthly amount in the app or MyRiverty to fit your financial situation. This does affect the amount of interest that you pay.

I would like to pay the full outstanding Flex balance at once. How does this work?
Woud you like to pay your open balance at once? Go to the app or MyRiverty and edit your monthly amount. You are able to select the full open balance. We will now deduct this amount from your bank account on the next payment date.

Can I pause my payment for Flex?
It is not possible to pause or postpone your payment. You are always abe to change the monthly amount. Changing your monthly amount affects the amount of interest you will pay.

You can use your right of withdrawal within the first 14 days after signing your Flex agreement. We will then cancel the agreement. All you have to do is contact our customer service.

Have you been using Flex for more than 14 days? Then please make sure to first pay the open balance in your Flex account. You can do so by changing the monthly amount in the app or MyRiverty and select the highest amount. We will deduct this amount from you bank account on the next payment date. After that, just contact our customer service and we will take care of the rest.

This will all go automatically. As soon as the webshop has informed us of your return, we will update the amount in your Flex account.

You can delete your Flex account when you have paid the flexed invoices and your balance is at €0.00. You can check this in the Flex section of the portal or app.

Then you can go to "Delete Flex account" at the bottom of your Flex overview and confirm that you want to delete your Flex account.

After that, it is no longer possible to add new invoices to your Flex account.
